For a 2007 sierra 5.3 L, In the videos and VLOM mod instructions it shows tapping the VLOM plug into the oil pressure sensor port til it bottoms out. Is it a problem if the plug did not require tapping with hammer but instead could pushed into place by pushing on a socket with fingers. It seems to be a snug fit, but not tight enough to require tapping with hammer. I am having the computer delete done and have cut the gaskets in the VLOM.

That's perfectly fine. As long as it has some resistance. I'm assuming you have the one with a slot? The slot units at the time of this response are intended for the Lt based (2014+) and ones without slot are for that LS based. They are the same size but the slot is needed in the Lt because it has a smaller stepped hole and plug needs to squeeze down more.
