AFM DOD DFM specialist

As I Complete this full DFM Delete job in my shop I can help but wonder, How long will GM continue to fail the consumer with this (previously AFM now DFM) system? Will they ever stop? Or does it make them too much money in parts sales?

While I may not know the answers to those questions I do seem to have the answers to how to identify and fix the issues the AFM and DFM systems have. In fact, I get asked so many of the same questions for years that I kept a FAQ section on all my devices I answer from just so I could copy and paste this information.
