so without knowing if hptuners can disable this on the hybrid. I'll check later on when I can, it's got 130k miles on it, 2 owners before but mostly carfax showed regular oil changes. closer to 9k between them than 3k but if the dealer kept synthetic in it, I'd hope that's good.
so say alls good for now, and turning it off isn't an option. the top plate with the solenoids seems to be around 200$ from gm looks ready to drop on. I have no problem with pulling the intake and swapping in a new plate, which would hopefully keep oil leaks from loose bolts away as well, plus replace the screen.
does this seem like a worth while thing to do to try and kick this failure can down the road another 100k?
